“The predominant aim of the charity is to fund non NHS fundable projects at the John Radcliffe and Churchill Hospitals in Oxford, England. We plan to provide home comforts for patients suffering from leukaemia and other blood cancers and their families and carers. Eventually, it is also hoped that the Day family apartment will be used to give respite to those affected by leukaemia.
We are currently creating a memorial garden for Anton at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford, where he was to continue treatment. The garden will provide peace and solace for the patients away from the clinical setting of the hospital. We have so far raised over £35,000 of the £50,000 needed to make this happen.”
